There is an inevitability about dawn.
No matter how dark the night:
Disturbed by the seeming reality
Of dreams and nightmares
Or the bleak wakeful moments
Of frenzied anxiety
Still sunrise comes.
So too in our world
Where nightmares of so many kinds
Find tangible expression
The light will shine
In the darkness
And can never
Be overcome.
