Shortcrust pastry with grated rind of 1 orange added
Mincemeat: use orange juice added to mincemeat
Make mince pies as normal. Often I use scraps, rolled and scored to make little baby Jesus’ and place on the lids.
Grate orange zest into tub of mascarpone and let down with a little more orange juice.
Serve mince pies slightly warm, lift the lids off the pies and add a spoon of orange mascarpone and replace lids.
